New Forest District Council shared ownership

If you would like to own your own home, but aren't able to afford to buy outright, shared ownership might be an option.

Shared ownership is designed to allow you to buy your home in stages. You start by buying a share in your home, typically between 25% and 75%, you then pay a capped rent on the remaining share.

You can then buy further shares in your home, in most cases until you own your home outright.
