Changes to recycling and rubbish collections from 2025 to 2026

A small number of food waste caddies delivered to phase 1 properties may be incorrectly branded with another council's logo. This happened during the first stage of bin and caddy deliveries for our new waste collection service, and we are working with our distribution company to correct it. If you did receive one of the wrong caddies and would like it replaced, please get in touch and we will arrange a replacement.

We are introducing a new waste collection service for the New Forest district from June 2025 to March 2026. It will be introduced in 3 phases, with different areas starting at different times. 

Households will get wheelie bins for alternate week recycling and rubbish collections, and food waste caddies for weekly food waste collections.
