New waste collection policy

In July 2022 we approved a new Waste Strategy 2022 to 2027 to improve recycling and reduce waste across the New Forest district. 

Our new collection policy supports the implementation of new working practices. This includes changes to household waste and recycling collections which will be introduced in 3 phases for the New Forest district from June 2025 to March 2026.

The collection policy outlines how we intend to deliver waste and recycling collection services to residents, and the actions required by households to participate fully in the service.
