2023 updates

December 2023

  • The building work is progressing well, with Plots 20-27 having been handed over. The deputy site manager informed me that Plots 20, 23, 24, 26 and 27 are now occupied. 
  • A site meeting involving officers from NFDC and the developer was held recently to inspect the ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace). Actions were agreed to make sure the land would be ready for transfer. 
  • The outstanding ecological features have been chased with the deputy site manager. They're being installed in the short term so that the houses concur with the ecological details prior to occupation. All the houses that are already occupied, or will be soon, have the correct ecological features already installed.
  • The kerbstones are being installed in the Northern section of the site, commencing by Plot 63.
  • The Hampshire Highways team have confirmed that the permissions have been issued for both the Northern pathway joining FORD1 to Burgate Acres and for the path at the top end. They can now progress these works.
  • Plots 51-53 are at ground floor level.
  • Plots 41, 42, 49 and 50 are at first floor level.
  • Plots 43-48, 54-58 and 60-62 are at roofline.
  • Plots 1-11, 16-19, 21, 22, 25, 29, 30, 32-40, 59 and 63 are at the internal and external stages.
  • Plots 13-15, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, and 31 are occupied.
  • Plot 12 is the Sales house.
  • Plots 19, 37, 58 and 60 are for sale.
  • Plot 38 has been reserved.
  • Plots 16-18, 21, 22, 25, 32, 36, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 55, 62 and 63 have exchanged.
  • Plots 13-15, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, and 31 are occupied.
  • Plot 12 is the Sales house.

November 2023

  • The build is progressing well. The South-Western corner, especially, is really taking shape. Plots 16-19 (flats) are at the internal and external stages. The kerbs are going in for the spur road and the car ports have been built.
  • The landscaping contractor has commenced the planting in the North-Eastern section of the site. The play area equipment has been installed in the ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace) and the contractor is laying the play surface.
  • The post and rail fence has also been installed. The paths have been constructed in this area. They will be inspected to ensure that they concur with the agreed details. 
  • The dog agility equipment has been ordered and is expected at the site in the short term when it will be installed.
  • The integral bat tubes are being installed on the houses in the Northern section of the site alongside the cladding that is due to be fitted soon.
  • Plots 41, 42 and 49-53 are at ground floor level.
  • Plots 43-48, 54-58 and 60-62 are at roofline.
  • Plots 1-11, 16-40, 59 and 63 are at the internal and external stages.

October 2023

  • The clearance work in the ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace) has been taking place. The contractor is currently constructing the no-dig (raised) footpaths. The planting should take place between October and March.  
  • Plots 41, 42 and 50 have their foundations and service access points in.
  • Plots 49 and 51-53 have their slabs constructed.
  • Plots 43-46 and 56-58 are at first floor level.
  • Plots 16-19, 47, 48, 54, 55 and 59-63 are at roofline.
  • Plots 1-11, 20-40 are at the internal and external stages. 
  • Plots 13-15 are occupied.
  • Plot 12 is the Sales house.
  • Plots 29, 30 and 32-35 are having the car ports constructed 

August 2023

  • The roads remain clear of mud along the stretch that is now occupied out to the main road.
  • Plots 41, 42 and 50 have their foundations and service access points in.
  • Plots 49 and 51-53 have their slabs constructed.
  • Plots and 43-48, 54-57, 59 and 60 are at ground floor level.
  • Plots 58, 61 and 62 are at first floor level.
  • Plots 1-5, 16-19, and 36,39, 40 and 63 are at roofline.
  • Plots 6-11, 20-35, 37 and 38 are at the internal and external stages. With Plots 32, 37 and 38 ready to be made watertight.
  • Plots 13-15 are occupied.
  • Plot 12 is the Sales house.
     

June 2023

  • The wildflower seeding at the entrance to the site (on the bund to the left hand side) is due to be carried out at the end of May . 
  • Plot 12 is going to be the show home.
  • Plots 13-15 are oc

  • Plots 48-53 have their foundations and service access points in.
  • Plots 59 and 60 have their slabs constructed.

May 2023

April 2023

  • Some tree planting has taken place along the Eastern boundary adjoining Plots 36-45. This will provide some privacy and a green boundary edge as it matures. No other planting has been carried out in the open space on site.
  • The trees due to be planted in the ANRG are programmed in to be completed by the end of April.
  • The playground equipment has been ordered and would be installed in May.
  • The bund forming the edge of POS 1 has been formed. This will now need to be seeded.
  • Plots 1-5 have just commenced first floor level. Plots 6-15 are at the internal and external stages.
  • Plots 16-19, 32, 34, 35 and 36-38 are at ground floor level.
  • Plots 20-27, 28 and 31 are at first floor level.
  • Plots 29, 30 and 33 are at roofline.
  • Plots 39, 40, 56-59, 62 and 63 have their slabs constructed.
  • Plots 41-55 have their foundations in.
  • Plots 12, 16, 18, 31 and 41 have been reserved.
  • Plots 20-27 have exchanged.
  • Plots 13, 14 and 15 are due to complete and be occupied today.

 

March 2023

  • Plots 1-5 have commenced construction. They are at ground floor level. Plots 6-15 are at roofline. They have commenced their interior works.
  • Plots 29, 30, 33-35 are at first floor level. The car parking for this area is currently being constructed. Plots 20- 28, 31 and 32 are at ground floor level. Plots 16-19 have their slabs in.
  • Plots 36-38 are at ground floor level. 39-40 have their slabs in. 47-61 have their foundations, drainage and water service points in. The parking spaces for Plots 52 and 53 have been constructed. The access road to
  • Plots 58-63 is being constructed. Plots 62 and 63 have their slabs in.
  • The tree protection remains in place across the site to protect the open space areas and tree root protection zones.
  • The developer is continuing work on the ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace).

 

January 2023

  • The highway entrance to site has been completed.
  • Plots 1-5 have commenced construction. Their footings are in. Plots 6-15 are at roofline.
  • Plots 29, 30, 33-35 are at ground floor level. The car parking for this area is currently being constructed. 
  • Plots 28, 31, 32 have their slabs in. Plots 23-27 are at ground floor level. Plots 16-20 have commenced construction. 
  • Plots 16-19 have their footings in. Plots 20-22 are at ground floor level.
  • Plots 36-42 have their foundations, drainage and water service points in. The roadway into this section of the site has commenced construction.
  • Plots 43-46 have commenced construction. Their foundations are in.
  • Plots 47-50 and 56-63 have their foundations, drainage and water service access points in. The access road to Plots 58-63 is being constructed.
  • Plots 51-55 have commenced construction. They too have their foundations, drainage and water service access points in.
  • The tree protection remains in place across the site to protect the open space areas and tree root protection zones.
  • The developer is continuing work on the ARNG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace).
