Verderers of the New Forest election

On Tuesday 26 November 2024, New Forest residents with an acre of land with Forest Rights, can cast a vote to appoint 2 verderers.
The registration deadline is Tuesday 17 September and can be done by printing, completing, and returning a paper form, available from the Verderers' website.
Verderers play a crucial role to protect and regulate the New Forest's unique agricultural commoning practices, and conserve its traditional landscape, wildlife, and aesthetic character.
There will be 4 polling stations in Lyndhurst, Fordingbridge, Lymington, and Ringwood.
