D-Day flag raised to commemorate 80th anniversary

On Thursday 6 June, we raised a flag and laid wreaths outside the council's main offices at Appletree Court in Lyndhurst to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
The council's Chairman was joined by a number of employees who are veterans of the Armed Forces, as well as representatives from the military based in Marchwood.
