Strategic Site 12: Land to the south of Derritt Lane, Bransgore
Our Local Plan 2016-2036 Part 1: Planning Strategy has allocated this land, known as Strategic Site 12: Land to the south of Derritt Lane, Bransgore for residential-led mixed use development and open space consisting of:
- at least 100 homes, dependent on the form, size and mix of housing provided
- on-site provision of public open space
The area for the allocation can be seen below. The area of the development parcel is lined in red.

Decision: Granted subject to conditions
The proposal is for:
- Development of 100 dwellings
- informal open space
- natural recreation greenspace and play areas
- footpaths and cycleways
- associated landscaping
- utilities and drainage infrastructure and enabling works
- vehicular access from Derritt Land and West Road
On 22nd April 2024 we received the following application:

Decision: Granted subject to conditions
Variation of conditions 2, 26 and 37 of application 21/11097 to allow amended layout and drainage plans in regard to the incorporation of a package treatment plan and associated infrastructure
Updates
Currently no on site development work is ongoing. Permission was granted on 29 September 2023
