Developments likely to be used by people that require mobility scooters, electric wheelchairs and other mobility aids should include provision for accessible, safe and covered storage, together with charging of such devices.

12.1 Relevant development include those where people with reduced mobility, the elderly or warden-controlled developments are proposed, but may also include health and care establishments, and community, retail and leisure facilities where users may also travel to. The number of spaces should be proportionate to the occupancy level for residential institutions or the visitor level for community, retail and leisure uses.
