How to line the bins and caddies
Wheelie bins
Items can go straight in the recycling wheelie bin. There will no need for a liner.
Most residents will use a liner for the general rubbish bin in their kitchen. When full, the liner can tied up and placed in the rubbish wheelie bin.
Food waste caddies
We are planning to provide a starter pack of caddy liners. This is to line your indoor kitchen caddy. Once full, the liners can be tied up and added to your outdoor collection caddy.
Nearer the time, we will provide more advice on how to use the caddies, including ways you can line them.

Food waste caddies
Before we roll out the new service, we will confirm what food waste we can and cannot collect.
The food waste collection service will be for food waste you cannot use up or compost. Examples of food waste are uneaten plate scrapings, out of date food, eggshells, and meat and fish bones.
