Awarded Employer of the Year by Brockenhurst College

We have been awarded Employer of the Year at Brockenhurst College's Gala Awards ceremony last week (11 July 2024.)

We were given the award for continually strengthening our relationship with the college, as well as in recognition of the joint working on improving apprenticeships and work experience. The event is held annually to mark the end of the academic year.

Cllr David Hawkins, NFDC Chairman, Rebecca Drummond, NFDC Assistant Director for Transformation, and Zoe Omerod, NFDC Senior HR Advisor, attended the event.

Cllr Hawkins said: "The gala awards were a privilege to be part of. It was wonderful to witness the academic and personal journeys of some amazing young talent."

Zoe said: "We are proud to win the award of Employer of the Year, and are committed to being an employer of choice.  Hopefully this award helps to show this."

Cllr Hawkins also presented the award to the college's Apprentice of the Year.
