Moore Close, New Milton

With funding secured from Homes England, New Forest District Council is developing land at Moore Close in New Milton to provide 16 new affordable homes. Amiri, a local firm, commenced construction in Autumn 2023.

The development of ten houses and six flats will provide a range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes for rent and shared ownership. The approved scheme includes a children's play area along with car parking and bicycle storage facilities.

Incorporating a range of green technology as well as electric vehicle charge points, all of the homes are being built to high standards of energy efficiency.

Houses for rent applications

Homes for rent will be allocated to applicants from the Council's Housing Register in accordance with procedures set out in the Council's Housing Allocation Policy.

Shared ownership applications

Homes for shared-ownership will be made available to applicants on a first come, first serve basis following the commencement of formal marketing in the summer/autumn 2024 (date to be agreed).
