Background of the review

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) has reviewed the district and parish wards in the New Forest.

As a result, there will be an decrease in the number of district wards, from 34 to 26, and some boundaries will change.

These new wards will come into effect for the May 2023 local elections.
