Confirm compliance or request withdrawal of an enforcement notice
You can apply to the Council for confirmation that an Enforcement Notice has been complied with, or to request that it be withdrawn.
To use either of these services, a written application should be sent to us, accompanied by the relevant fee and any plans/further information as necessary to process your request.

Fees
The fees for this service are:
- The fee to request confirmation as to whether the requirements of an Enforcement Notice have been complied with is £426 (including VAT)
- The fee to request that an Enforcement Notice be withdrawn is £744 (including VAT)
Timescales
The aim is to provide the written response within 21 working days for requests for confirmation that the requirements of an Enforcement Notice have been complied with and within 56 days for requests to withdraw an Enforcement Notice.
Please be aware that if the Council declines to withdraw the Enforcement Notice or is unable to confirm that the Notice has been fully complied; or is unable to respond within the relevant timescale due to problems associated with accessing the site, the application fee paid will not be returned.
Please note that unless an Enforcement Notice is withdrawn, it will be revealed during a Local Authority Land Charges Search.
