Garden Waste - early sign up offer 2023 privacy notice
New Forest District Council is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. For the purpose of the 2018 General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Controller is New Forest District Council ('the Council'), Appletree Court, Beaulieu Road, Lyndhurst, Hampshire SO43 7PA (data.controller@nfdc.gov.uk ) .
The council has a garden waste collection service. This will change from sacks to a wheeled bin service later in 2023 and residents who provide their email address will be emailed about a £25 price reduction before it is publicised elsewhere.

We use your information to add you to a mailing list to be informed about the £25 price reduction.

The information we collect is stored on the Council's secure IT system.
We will retain the email address until December 2023.

We need to process your data in order to provide you with the services that you are requesting.
When and why we share your information
We do not share the email database with anyone else.
What are the legal grounds for processing your information?
The Council is relying on the lawful basis of consent when using your personal data. You can withdraw your consent by contacting communciations@nfdc.gov.uk.
