How Appletree careline service works
Our Appletree Careline equipment uses the latest digital technology and comes pre-installed with a mobile SIM card which does not require the use of a landline telephone line.
All our equipment is installed by our trusted and experienced installers who will demonstrate the equipment to you and answer any questions. Once your Appletree Careline is installed, simply press the button on the pendant that you wear or the button on the unit, to be connected to our emergency control room team. They will have access to all your contact details and will arrange the help that you need.
We also have equipment which can be automatically activated if a fall is detected, please see below for further information.
Suitability of Appletree Careline service
Our Appletree Careline service is suitable for all adults of any age.
Our customers include: older, frail, disabled or vulnerable people, those with health issues, at risk of violence, or just want to take proactive steps to maintain their independence.
Pricing
We offer a number of options to suit your individual needs. You may be VAT exempt if you have a disability or a long-term health condition. See our price list for details.
Additional equipment
Extra devices can be programmed to the Lifeline unit such as fall detectors, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. These will automatically trigger a call without the need to press a button.
Our fall detectors
Ideal for people at risk of trips and falls.
A Fall Detector can automatically detect certain types of trips and falls and is connected to your Appletree Careline equipment, which will alert our emergency control room team, ensuring necessary help is arranged without delay.
Identity wristbands
Our identity wristband is a personal ID band which is flexible and waterproof. They are ideal for supporting your confidence when out and about.
