Pay for parking

There are several ways to pay for parking your vehicle in one of our coastal car parks or town and village car parks.

If you have a disability, parking is free for Blue Badge holders. A valid Blue Badge must always be displayed. Visit the Hampshire County Council website for more information on the Blue Badge parking scheme.

RingGo service

RingGo is a mobile phone service that lets you pay for your parking with a credit or debit card. It is a good alternative to using cash at a ticket machine.

Users of the service will pay a small convenience charge to RingGo. Currently this is 20p per parking session.

All of our car parks have this paying option available.

The details are provided on all our parking ticket machines. RingGo's automated system registers your vehicle, location and payment details for future use.

You can pay by RingGo using the following options:

  • call 01590 605959, providing your vehicle and parking details
  • install the RingGo pay by phone parking app (Android, Windows and iOS)
  • book parking with RingGo online, you will need to register to log your details

Once payment is processed, your parking session will start immediately.

Your parking payment is recorded within the RingGo service. You will not display a valid parking ticket with this payment option. Payment is checked using the system's details.

You can use any of the methods above to top up on your current parking and extend your paid time allowance.

For further information, visit the RingGo website.
