How to use your new bins and food waste caddies

Grey indoor food waste caddy
Use your grey indoor food waste caddy to collect food waste in the kitchen. Once your indoor food waste caddy is full or it's time for your food waste collection, transfer food waste to your brown outdoor food waste caddy.
Food waste caddy liners
It's a good idea to line your food waste caddy, so it's easier to transfer it to your brown outdoor food waste caddy.
When we deliver your food waste caddies you'll get an initial supply of food waste caddy liners (1 roll of 52 sacks).
Once your initial supply of food waste caddy liners is used up, you can use plastic bags you would otherwise throw away (like bread or salad bags), newspaper, or liners.
Before your new waste collections start, we will provide more guidance on food waste caddy liners.
Brown outdoor food waste caddy
When it's time for your weekly food waste collection, or your grey indoor food waste caddy is full, transfer the food waste to the larger brown outdoor food waste caddy.
If we let you know you're using communal bins for food waste collections, you'll transfer food waste from your indoor caddy to your food waste communal bin.
