November 2024
The site has now reached full occupation.
The landscaping company remain on site carrying out the planting and maintenance works required.
The Open Spaces Officer will liaise with the developer to ensure the POS (public open space) has been completed to a satisfactory standard.
September 2024
All the ecological features have now been installed on the site.
The Site Monitoring Officer, Tree Officer and the Open Spaces Officer have carried out an inspection of the planting and the POS (Public Open Space). The recommendations for remedial works and planting have been forwarded to the developer for their attention.
Trinity Management, the management company for the development, has commenced landscaping maintenance works across the site. They have an agreed landscaping management plan they will need to follow.
- Plots 1-50 and 53-63 are occupied.
- Plots 51 and 52 have been sold, but are not occupied yet.
The construction company has now left the site.
The landscaping company remain on site carrying out the planting and maintenance works required.
August 2024
- The Site Monitoring Officer and Ecologists have carried out a site inspection of the required ecological features. The two bat boxes required to be installed have been placed in the ANRG. The two reptile hibernacula required to be installed have also been placed in the ANRG. The hedgehog highways have been created in the fences. Most of the ecological features have now been installed on site. There is only one House Martin nest box left to install.
- The grass seed has been completed in the ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace).
- The ANRG and the two completed play areas are all open to the public.
- There have been no problems with mud on the roads reported.
- There have been no problems with noise reported.
- The roads and hardscaping continue to be installed. The whole site now has solid roadways. This makes it a cleaner site.
- Plots 42, and 50-53, 56, 57 and 59 are at the internal and external stages.
- Plots 1-11, 13-39, 41, 43-48, 54, 55, 58 and 60-63 are occupied. Plots 40 and 49 have been sold, but are not occupied yet.

- The kerbs are being installed adjacent to Plots 53-57.
- The tarmacking of the main spine road is taking place in the Northern section of the site.
- The area of ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace) adjoining the houses on its Eastern edge, has been grass seeded along with other pockets of open space along that stretch of the site. The grass is beginning to grow now.
- The landscapers are continuing with the planting across the site.
- More of the Ecological features have been installed, both on the houses and in the ANRG. The site manager has been given a list of the remaining ones so they can be installed in the short term.
- Plots 41, 42, and 49-59 are at the internal and external stages.

April 2024
- There have been no problems with mud on the roads reported.

- The area of ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace) adjoining the houses on its Eastern edge, will be grass seeded once the wet weather eases off.
- Fencing works in the ANRG continue to be carried out, along with general housekeeping works.
- The landscapers are continuing with the planting across the site. NFDC officers will be carrying out a site inspection of all the planting next month.
March 2024
- The dog agility equipment has been installed.
- The area of the ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace) adjoining the houses on its Eastern edge, is being landscaped. The pathways and fencing are being constructed. Tree planting is also taking place in that area.
- The central play area in the ANRG has been turfed and planted up. Offcuts from the tree works have been used to create bug and small creature habitats.
- The landscapers are continuing with the planting on site. They have been planting the area around Plots 16-19 and the open space there.
- The Site Monitoring Officer and the NFDC Ecologist recently made a site inspection of the Ecological features attached to the houses and in the ANRG, to ensure compliance.
January 2024
- There is no problem with mud on the roads at the moment. The site is still using the road sweeper to keep the roads clean.
- The block paving has been installed adjoining Plots 36-38. The rear walls to the plots are being constructed. The garage doors have also been installed.
- The contractor has ordered in the remaining Ecological features, ready to get them installed as the build permits.
- The Open Spaces Officer met the contractor on site to make sure the play equipment and dog agility equipment is compliant.
- The landscapers are continuing with the planting on site.
- Plots 41, 42 and 49-53 are at first floor level.
- Plots 45, 46, 58 and 60 are at roofline.
- Plots 3, 5, 16-19, 36-40, 43, 44, 47, 48, 54-57, 59 and 61-63 are at the internal and external stages.

December 2023
- The building work is progressing well, with Plots 20-27 having been handed over. The deputy site manager informed me that Plots 20, 23, 24, 26 and 27 are now occupied.
- A site meeting involving officers from NFDC and the developer was held recently to inspect the ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace). Actions were agreed to make sure the land would be ready for transfer.
- The outstanding ecological features have been chased with the deputy site manager. They're being installed in the short term so that the houses concur with the ecological details prior to occupation. All the houses that are already occupied, or will be soon, have the correct ecological features already installed.
- The kerbstones are being installed in the Northern section of the site, commencing by Plot 63.
- The Hampshire Highways team have confirmed that the permissions have been issued for both the Northern pathway joining FORD1 to Burgate Acres and for the path at the top end. They can now progress these works.
- Plots 51-53 are at ground floor level.
- Plots 41, 42, 49 and 50 are at first floor level.
- Plots 43-48, 54-58 and 60-62 are at roofline.

- The build is progressing well. The South-Western corner, especially, is really taking shape. Plots 16-19 (flats) are at the internal and external stages. The kerbs are going in for the spur road and the car ports have been built.
- The landscaping contractor has commenced the planting in the North-Eastern section of the site. The play area equipment has been installed in the ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace) and the contractor is laying the play surface.
- The post and rail fence has also been installed. The paths have been constructed in this area. They will be inspected to ensure that they concur with the agreed details.
- The dog agility equipment has been ordered and is expected at the site in the short term when it will be installed.
- The integral bat tubes are being installed on the houses in the Northern section of the site alongside the cladding that is due to be fitted soon.

October 2023
- The clearance work in the ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace) has been taking place. The contractor is currently constructing the no-dig (raised) footpaths. The planting should take place between October and March.

- The playground equipment has been ordered and would be installed in May.
- The bund forming the edge of POS 1 has been formed. This will now need to be seeded.

- The roadways adjoining the entrance and the crossing are being constructed. The grass seeding of the nonpaved areas has been carried out.
- The roads are continuing construction throughout the site, both the spine and spur roads.
- The tree protection is in place across the site to protect the open space areas and tree root protection zones.
- The developer has started work on the ARNG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace). They are carrying out the clearance of brambles. The pathways are due to be constructed along with the play areas prior to 1st occupation. This is expected to be in March. Both the ARNG and the play areas need to be completed and open prior to this.
- Plots 6-15 are having their 1st floor walls constructed.
- Plots 16-19, 23-28, 31 and 32 are having their slabs constructed.
- Plots 29, 30 and 33-35 are having their ground floor walls constructed.
- The construction of the spur roads is being carried out at the Northern end of the site. The road drainage is going in.

November 2022
- The main road into the site is being constructed. The kerbs and services are going in with the tarmac top layer being laid at the end of October.
- The spine road through the site to the Northern end is being constructed. The kerbs are going in currently.
- The POS (Public Open Space) and ANRG (Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace) areas have been fenced off to protect them.
- Plots 36, 37, 38, 39, 40 have their foundations in and the water and drainage lines have been installed.
- Plots 62, 63 have their foundations in.
- Plots 56-61 are having their foundations constructed. The existing house is being demolished currently.
- Plots 23-28, 31 and 32 have their foundations constructed and their drainage and water service lines installed.

September 2022
- The Northern end of the site has been cleared and is now being used as a materials compound as per the agreed plan.
- The main spine road into the site has been constructed, for site traffic to use.
- The site compound and welfare units are in situ, as is the site parking.
- The soakaway serving Plots 1-11 has been constructed. The car park serving these plots is also in situ and is being used for storage of the site vehicles.
- Plots 6-15, 28-31, and 33-35 have commenced construction. Their foundations are in and the bases are being prepped ready to start construction of the slabs.
August 2022
- Site clearance has taken place across most of the site. The existing dwellings and outbuildings due to be demolished are currently still in situ.
- The tree protection is in situ. This was checked across the whole of the site against the agreed plan.
- The Northern end of the site has commenced site clearance with the turf starting to be removed.
- The soakaway serving Plots 1-11 is being constructed.
- Plots 6-14 have commenced construction. The foundations are in and the bases are being prepped ready for the beams to be installed to start creating the slabs.

Application 20/10228 was presented to our planning committee with a recommendation to allow a further three month period until the end of June 2022 for the completion of the S106 Agreement and the issuing of the Planning Permission.
The decision given was that the Executive Head of Planning, Regeneration and Economy be given authority until the end of June 2022 to complete the S106 Agreement and for the Planning Permission to be issued. You can read the planning committee report below:

The agreement was signed on the 13 April 2022 and the decision issued 14 April 2022. It is anticipated that works will commence on site in the summer of 2022.
