Taxi and private hire policy review

The draft taxi policy consultation is closed.

A large number of responses were received to the taxi policy consultation and have now been reviewed.

On Friday 10 January 2025 a summary of the responses together with proposed amendments to the draft policy were presented to Members at the General Purposes and Licensing Committee (GP&L).

Members considered the amendments and agreed that the changes proposed following the consultation responses, were appropriate. The amended Policy will be presented to full Council for approval on Monday 24 February.
