Harry works for us as a Streetscene Area Supervisor, having been recently promoted from Streetscene Roads Team Leader, and is currently doing a management apprenticeship alongside his role. 

Harry is 25 and oversees 40 full time staff across three depots in Lymington, Claymeadow, and Ringwood. 

Harry and the Streetscene team help to deliver a street cleaning service 7 days a week. Harry oversees the clearing of litter on grass verges on roads across the New Forest and says: "Our job is rewarding, particularly when we see the end result. People would never guess that when we're working on the roads, we walk up to five miles a day."

We recently had the opportunity to celebrate Harry as he was given an award for recognisable achievement for undertaking his Level 3 Supervisor and Management apprenticeship at Brockenhurst College. 

Harry says: "I'm proud to help keep the New Forest as tidy as we can. We try to ensure the district is pretty for visitors and residents. My favourite place to visit in the district is Brockenhurst - I love the old buildings." 

"If anyone ever asks how I am, I say: 'I'm living the dream!'"
