National Planning Policy Framework
The government carried out an 8 week consultation from 30 July to 24 September 2024 on a proposed approach to revising the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). It also sought views on a series of wider national planning policy reforms.

A revised NFFP was published on 12 December 2024. Following the publication the we wrote to the government setting out some concerns on the implications this may have on the unique and highly protected areas of the New Forest. Our letter and the response can be seen below.
