  • When your organisation started.
  • Your organisation's aims and activities.
  • Membership details.
  • Achievements of your organisation.
  • What you consider special about your organisation.

Do not contact the Chairman directly or send correspondence to his or her home address. All communication should come through the Chairman's Secretary at the above address.

Once it is established whether the Chairman is able to attend, you will be asked to complete an invitation questionnaire, which you should read before issuing your initial invitation. You can download the invitation questionnaire below.

8 March: Attended the Chairman of Hampshire County Council's Concert at The Anvil, Basingstoke.

16 March: Attended the Mayor of Havant's Afternoon Cream Teas with the Portsmouth Military Wives Choir.

February 2020

3 February: Attended New Forest District Council to meet and greet new employees.

8 February: Attended the Mayor of Test Valley's Charity Murder Mystery Evening.

9 February: Represented the district at the Annual Civic Service for the Mayor of New Milton.

27 February: Represented the district in the opening of Carpathia Grange Nursing Home in Hythe.

January 2020

28 January: Attended the Mayor of Test Valley's Chinese New Year Dinner charity event at the Golden Dragon Restaurant in Andover.

December 2019

8 December: Attended the Mayor of Basingstoke's Carol Service at St Michael's Church, Basingstoke.

13 December: Hosted the Annual Civic Service which this year took the form of a carol service at the Beaulieu Abbey.

16 December: Hosted the Veteran's Christmas Party at the McMullen Barracks, Marchwood at the courtesy of the 17 Port and Maritime Regiment RLC. The veterans enjoyed the company of the Regiment.

November 2019

10 November: Represented the district at the Lyndhurst Royal British Legion Remembrance Sunday in Lyndhurst.

11 November: Represented the district at the Remembrance Day Observance at Appletree Court. Representatives of 17 Port and Maritime Regiment RLC were also in attendance and laid a wreath alongside the Chairman, the Council's Armed Forces Champion and Lyndhurst RBL.

11 November: Attended the New Forest Mencap at their AGM in his position as the Honorary President.

12 November: Attended the Community First New Forest AGM held at Lyndhurst Community Centre in his position as the Honorary President.

15 November: Represented the district at the Beaulieu Estate Dinner held by Lord and Lady Montagu of Beaulieu in Domus, Beaulieu Abbey.

October 2019

1 October: Represented the district at the New Forest Disability Information Service Annual Public Meeting in New Milton.

3 October: Represented the district at the charity launch of Olivia Inspires held at Lymington Town Sailing Club.

5 October: Represented the district at the Hampshire Scouts YPERN - Pilot Exercise at Ferny Crofts Scout Activity Centre, Brockenhurst.

6 October: Attended the Dean of Winchester Cathedral's Hampshire Harvest Service.

7 October: Represented the district at the opening of a new store in New Milton for The IPG.

10 October: Attended the Hampshire Awards Ceremony 2019 held by SERFCA at the Winchester Guild Hall.

18 October: Attended the Chairman and Trustees of the Royal Hampshire Regiment Trust Drinks Reception at Serle'e House, Winchester.

September 2019

4 September: Represented the district at the Presentation of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service held by National Coastwatch Institution, held at The Kinkead Room, Calshot Activity Centre.

10 September: Attended the Civic Day for Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, held at Laverstoke Park Farm, Overton.

27 September: Attended the Civic Day for the Mayor of Christchurch, held in Christchurch.

27 September: Represented the district at the Commodore's Reception at Lymington Town Sailing Club.

28 September: Represented the district at the Chairman's Dinner at the Oakhaven Hospice, held at The Royal Lymington Yacht Club.

The Vice Chairman also attended the following events:

11 September: Attended the Mayor of Fareham's Civic Day, visiting venues in the areas.

14 September: Represented the district at the AGM for Age Concern, held at Marchwood Village Hall, Marchwood.

18 September: Attended the Mayor of Test Valley's event of the Showcasing of Test Valley held at Sir Harold Hiller Gardens, Romsey.

20 September: Represented the district at the 40th Anniversary of Charles Ley Court, held at Charles Ley Court.

August 2019

17 August: Attended Solent Dolphin's 30th anniversary garden party. Solent Dolphin is one of the Chairman's chosen charities.

25 August: Represented the district at the New Forest North Scout District's Welcome Home to Hampshire Scout Malawi Expedition, held at Copythorne Parish Hall.

July 2019

2 July: Represented the district at the St John's Ambulance annual awards evening, held at the Great Hall, Winchester.

3 July: Attended the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth's Civic Head's Dinner, held in the Lord Mayor's Suite in Portsmouth.

5 July: Represented the district at the Hampshire Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award Holders' Reception, held at The Great Hall, Winchester.

8 July: Represented the district at the New Forest Children's University graduation ceremony, held at Blackfield Primary School.

9 July: Attended the High Sheriff of Hampshire's summer party, held at Upham House, Upham.

10 July: Represented the district to be presented to HRH The Prince of Wales, at Exbury Gardens.

15 July: Represented the district at Hampshire Day, at the invitation of HM Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire.

16 July: Attended the opening event for the two new council housing developments at Brook and Bartley Courts at Blackwater Road, Totton.

29 July: Attended the annual show dinner at the New Forest and Hampshire County Show.

31 July: Represented the district at the Ministerial Reception, held at the New Forest and Hampshire County Show.

5 July: Represented the district at the Cornwallis Remembered Commemoration Service, held at All Saints' Church, Milford.

30 July: Represented the district at the New Milton Town Council's New Milton Remembers event, held at the Indian Army Memorial Obelisk.

2 June: Attended the Mayor of Test Valley's civic service, held at Romsey Abbey.

4 June: Attended the New Forest Disability Information Service's open day.

10 June: Attended HM The Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire's reception for new Mayors and Chairman, held at Serle's House, Winchester.

11 June: Attended a drinks reception at the invitation of the Bishop of Winchester.

20 June: Represented the district at the Hampshire Scouts' Annual Review and AGM, held at Ashburton Hall, Winchester.

22 June: Represented the district at Fawley Parish Council's Armed Forces Day, held at Gang Warily Recreation and Community Centre.

24 June: Raised the Armed Forces Day flag at Appletree Court.

24 June: Attended a new employee meet and greet session at Appletree Court.

26 June: Attended the celebration of Wednesday Junior Sailing's 35th anniversary, held at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club in the presence of HRH The Princess Royal.

28 June: Attended the investiture of the new Town Mayor for New Milton.

29 June: Attended the New Forest Children's Graduation Ceremony, held at the University of Winchester.

The Vice Chairman also attended the following events:

27 June: Attended the Mayor of Winchester's civic day.

30 June: Represented the district at the annual service for the Friends of New Forest Airfields, held at the memorial in Black Lane, Holmsley South.

May 2019

20 May: Cllr Allan Glass accepted the office of Chairman of the Council at its Annual Meeting, held at Appletree Court. Following this meeting and on the same evening, the Chairman was delighted to bestow the honour of Honorary Alderman on Colin Wise and Di Brooks, who had both stepped down at the last elections after 20 years' service to the council.

24 May: Attended the launch and private viewing of Sculpture at Beaulieu 2019, at the invitation of Lord and Lady Montagu.
