The Housing Delivery Test is an annual measurement of housing delivery published annually by the Government at local authority level.
Preparation of a Housing Delivery Test Action Plan is required if housing delivery in the preceding three years is less than 95% of the housing delivery requirement set by the Government.
The Interim Housing Delivery Test Action Plan outlines the challenges facing an area in terms of housing delivery. It also identifies measures to maintain or improve levels of delivery.
It is interim because it relates to the 2009 Local Plan position.
You can download the Interim Housing Delivery Test Action Plans for 2018-19 and 2019-20 below.
The Housing Delivery Test results will be updated following the adoption of the Local Plan 2016-2036 Part 1: Planning Strategy.
Following adoption of the new Local Plan, we project that it would pass the Housing Delivery Test.
