What are the benefits of Yoga?

Holistic activities are not just about fitness and peace of mind but about balance, co-ordination and posture. They encourage you to see fitness in mental as well as physical terms. Our studios offers a calm, peaceful environment, with air conditioning and variable lighting to create the perfect ambiance.
Yoga respects the differences in age, gender, both mental and physical health, culture, philosophy, religion and occupation. Integrating movement, breathing and mental focus it improves physical and mental health as well as spiritual awareness.

Fitness Yoga - A fitness program that incorporates stretch, strength & Yoga postures validated from a fitness perspective. Fitness Yoga concentrates on movement, breathing, transitions from one posture to another and progression. There is no dogma, chanting or use of Sanskrit terms as postures are prescribed from a modern fitness perspective. We adopt a mindful method of teaching that reflects the Buddhist traditions of Yoga in a more contemporary and social environment. Moves and postures are sequenced together to the beat of the music. 

CAN I DO IT?

Yes you most certainly can, we offer a wide range of courses/classes from beginner to advanced so something for everyone. Our instructor will be with you every step of the way, giving you guidance, support and encouragement

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Loose, comfortable clothing for maximum movement
Suitable non-slip footwear
Water / drinks bottle - It is important to keep hydrated whilst exercising. Water bottle filling facilities are available in a number of areas throughout our centres.
Small towel
£1 deposit for locker (20p deposit for lockers in our dry changing room at Ringwood)
